Leadership for Learning Health Systems Course

Local leadership is essential to developing robust and well-functioning health systems.

Our goal is to develop a network of local leaders who can implement a ‘learning health systems’ approach in their teams and organisations and to support learning across institutions in Southeast Asia and the Pacific.

Participants are supported to attend two one-week courses on leadership and learning and receive ongoing support through an online community to implement a quality improvement or implementation research project in their context.

The Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) Australia Awards Fellowship (AAF) program has supported 44 Australia Awards Fellows from Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Vanuatu and Vietnam to complete this program in Melbourne, Australia (2023-2025).

Leadership for Learning Health Systems courses have adapted and taught with AAF Alumni in Fiji, Indonesia, Vanuatu and Vietnam.

To learn more about Leadership for Learning Health Systems join the Paediatric Academy and be part of our online community of practice for Learning Health Systems.
